The finish line is in sight

So I am on day two of level three of 30 day shred. I am so proud of myself for coming this far and not letting fear and laziness get in the way. It has been a rough 22 days, but I managed to tet through it surprisingly unscathed. I have noticed that I am a little bit stronger, my wind is up, and my legs are firmer. I have also noticed a difference in how my clothes fit. I have decided to start clean eating to assist with my weight loss efforts. For those who don't know. Clean eating is eating no processed foods. Nothing but fresh (or frozen) fruits and veggies. Whole grain, lean meats and lots of water. There are other things that you can eat as well, but those are the basics. I have been clean eating for two days now and have lost three pounds. I'm sure it's mostly water weight but I'll take it. With clean eating, I am not feeling deprived or hungry. Don't get me wong, I still crave or an oreo or some ice cream, but I can say "no" and go grab myself some watermelon or strawberries. I am hoping to knock these last eight days out with a bang.

Back in the saddle

It's been a few days but I am back. The fam and I had been battling some awful bug that is going around. Everyone in here was either nauseous, vomiting or both. On top of having stomach pains. It was not a pretty site. It definitely left me out of comission for doing 30 Day Shed for a couple of days. It kind of sucked because I rather enjoying getting that workout in. Today we are all feeling a bit better but not 100%. We were all able to get food down and keep it there. I was also able to workout this morning. So, I am back, kind of, and ready to ride again.

Moving along...

So I am at the halfway mark with 30 Day Shred. Well actually, yesterday was day 15, so technically, that was the halfway mark. But I digress. I am ecstatic that I managed to make it two full weeks! I mean, if you know me, I not the one to do any hard core exercise for longer than five minutes. lol. I can feel myself getting stronger, but am not quite sure what my results are looking like. I am in the hopes that I can finish this thing with a bang. Summer is up the street and about to pull up any minute so I best be prepared for when it gets here.

Proof that working from home ACTUALLY works

So I have been at this WAH (work at home) journey for about two full years. During those two years, I have scoured the net for jobs, or businesses that I could do from home. At first, I was a bit discouraged because all I kept finding were those "Make $400 TODAY" ads and websites. The first few times they got me, but I quickly became hip to the game and learned to "weed out" the scams. I learned to research each website. Look for phone numbers, contact information, guarantees, product price, advertisement and personal reviews (the best method for weeding out scams). Now while personal reviews are the best method, you have to take each review with a grain of salt. With EVERYTHING that is business related, you will have those who just weren't happy with their product. You have to weight the good vs. the bad. If you see 100 comments and five or even ten are bad, that's a pretty safe bet that you're in the right place. I found a surprising amount of companies (that we know) that hire people to work from home. Those types of gigs usually require a quiet work environment seeing as how you will more than likely be on the phone. Wasn't for me. I have three children, all under the age of nine. And one of whom is a one year old busy body toddler. lol. My other option was a home based business. Now, there are also a lot of them out there too. You just have to find what is right for you. I had my standards (if you want to call them that) when it came to having an at home business. I didn't want to sell, stuff, craft, host, or stock anything. I was looking for at at home position that allowed me to do what I needed to do on my time. I found a few businesses that promised and for the most part delivered, but my all time favorite was Net Income Solutions. They are amazing. The first thing I noticed was that they didn't advertise. They are a word of mouth based company. That in itself is a good thing because they rely on people like you and me to let everyone know how great they are. Now why would we do that if we don't think they're great. See where I'm going with this? The second thing I noticed was the price and their money back guarantee. They guarantee that you will be 100% satisfied or your money back, no questions asked. The other thing that stood out to me was the how quickly you receive a response from the admins. If you have a problem, reach out to them, and they will be in touch with you quickly. My favorite part though, is how quickly you get paid. You can literally get paid everyday (through your pay pal account). Its a no fuss, no hassle way to get your money. You can send the money to your bank account or Pay pal has a debit card which gives you direct access to your money. I started with Net Income Solutions in January and although I am just reaching the point where I've learned everything and now can mentor others, I have been paid during this whole time. Yes, they actually pay you while you learn. It isn't much, but I have received $260 from them since January. Here is a snap shot of my pay pal account since January.
So there is proof that their system works. I am so happy that I have found them and if you are contemplating working from home, I would suggest giving Net Income Solutions a try. Net Income Solutions

I guess hard work actually does pay off

So as we all know, I have been battling this weight loss demon for a while. Every once in a while, I get discouraged and start to feel as if my efforts are null in void. Well, I finally got confirmation that my efforts aren't futile and that I am apparently doing a great job. Saturday, I went to a cousins baby shower. I hadn't seen my family since Christmas so it has been a while. As soon as I walked in, everyone yelled "OMG! Look at you skinny girl!" Everyone just kept going on and on about how much weight I've lost and how great I look. I was a bit embarrassed to be honest. I'm not used to that type of attention. Once the baby shower was over, a few of us went over to my cousins house to have a good time. While I was there, one of her male friends tried to hit on me. Again, an awkward moment for me. Sunday, we went to yet another baby shower. There were people there who we hadn't seen in close to a year or more. When I walked in and started greeting everyone, they all started going crazy saying how great I looked. All I could think was, "man! I must have really been huge!" Lol. I am happy about my progress thus far but I still feel like I have a ways to go. I guess Jillian is helping more than I thought.

What in the world was I thinking?!?

So I started day 1 of level 2 on the 30 Day Shred today. Let me just say, I HATE Jillian Michaels.I hate her so much that I love her. lol. She is so hard core, but yet I love it. This was probably the most challenging round of exercises that I have ever done. She worked me so hard, I felt as if I were a child getting reprimanded for some nonsense that I had done.
TIME OUT ANYONE? She literally gets your WHOLE body into the workout this time. She had me working muscles that I didn't even know I had! While it was extremely tough, I managed to get through it with minimal breaks to catch my breath. There were about three times in which I wanted to call it quits, but I stuck it out. If I can leave this level with the ability to do all of the moves exactly like they do it, I will be beyond ecstatic. We'll see. 19 days until I can say I completed this thing...

Battle of the bulge: Part Deuce

So today I finished level 1 of 30 Day Shred. While it was the toughest 10 days of my life, I managed to get through it without excuses and "breaks". During these last 10 days I have learned that I can do anything that I put my mind to. Even gathering the strength to complete the first day of this was hard. Jillian is so hard core. She makes you work for what you want. I can feel a difference in my clothes but have yet to measure or weigh myself. I am hoping that I can finish these last 20 days so I can have amazing results like everyone else I keep seeing. Well, tomorrow's another day. On to level 2!
